What type of wick do you use in your candles?
All wick used in our candles is zinc, paper, or cotton cored. We do not use lead core wicking.
Zinc wicks have been tested and have been proven to not be harmful to consumers.
What kind of wax are the candles made out of?
Most of our candles are made of paraffin wax. We also have a line of natural soy candles and are currently testing beeswax candles.
Are the dishes made of real fruit?
We've strived to create dishes that contain wax chunks that look as similar to the real item as possible, but all of our candles are purely wax.
Do you use smokeless wicks?
If you keep the candle wicks properly trimmed (as per the instructions provided with each candle), they will not smoke.
How do the candles burn? / Do the candles burn well?
If you follow the instructions provided with every candle, they will burn as expected.
Please keep in mind that candles are meant to be round, so any non-round shape may not burn off all of the wax.
It is a trade-off between shape and functionality.
Do the candles smell when they burn?
Our candles are scented with the largest amount of fragrance you can give them without causing them to burn incorrectly.
Are all of the candles hand made?
Yes, every candle we sell has been hand made.
Where can I buy the molds you use for the fruits etc.?
We make the bulk of our molds, and do not offer them for sale.
Do you sell candle making supplies?
The actual making of the candles and the normal business day-to-day tasks keeps us very busy. We may sell supplies on a case-by-case basis - please contact us for information.
Will you tell me where you buy ……..?
We do not disclose information on any of our suppliers.
Can you make the color of a candle to a color swatch/sample?
Dying candles it not as exact a science as matching paint etc. We will make every effort to dye your candle to the colors you specified, but cannot guarantee a perfect match.
Why does my custom order require a deposit?
Candles that differ significantly in color or design from our normal candles, or larger orders such as for wedding favours or decorations, may require a deposit.
Can I get candles as wedding favours or decorations?
Absolutely. We are currently in the process of developing a line of candles for weddings.

Can candles be shipped?
Candles can be shipped directly by us to anywhere in Canada. We cannot ship to the US at this time. The
customer is responsible for covering all shipping costs via Canpar. We can ship Canada Post, but are not responsible for any damages.
Can I choose the colors and scent of my candles?
Absolutely.
Do you have a catalog?
We feel very strongly about creating as little waste as possible, and as such do not offer a paper catalog. Images and additional information on our candles can be found here on our website.

Due to the overwhelming amount of requests we receive, we are unable to donate to every charity. We are willing to consider all requests, so please provide as much information as possible (including contact information). If we decide to donate to your organization or charity, we will contact you.
Do you make unscented candles?
Yes, we do offer some unscented candles by order only. Fruit/3D dishes are not available unscented.
